2 (1 lb.) cans Van Camp’s pork and beans
¾ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
6 slices bacon, chopped*
½ cup ketchup
1. Put half the beans in a 1 ½-quart casserole.
2. Combine brown sugar and mustard in a small bowl; sprinkle half of it over beans.
3. Add rest of beans to casserole, and sprinkle rest of sugar mixture over top.
4. On top of this, add uncooked* chopped bacon and ketchup.
5. Brown in 325ºF oven for 2 hours; turn down the temp to 275ºF for another half hour.
