pork chops with apples & stuffing

6 boneless pork loin chops (1 inch thick)
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
1 (6 oz.) package crushed stuffing mix (I use Stove Top)
1 (21 oz.) can apple pie filling (I use real apples, peal and cut)

1. In a skillet, brown pork chops in oil over medium-high heat.
2. Meanwhile prepare stuffing according to package directions.
3. Spread pie filling, or real apples, into a greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
4. Place pork chops on top, spoon stuffing over chops.
5. Cover and bake at 350ºF for 35 minutes.
6. Uncover and bake 10 minutes longer.
