marie's white chocolate raspberry scones

4 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
7 Tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoons salt
3/4 cup cold butter
6 oz. white chocolate chips
1 egg yolk
1 1/2 cups liquid hazelnut creamer
1 pint fresh raspberries (frozen works too, or other fruit, if you'd like)
Frosting:
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

6 teaspoons water
1 teaspoons almond extract


1. Combine flour, baking powder, cream of tartar, sugar, and salt.
2. Cut in: butter and mix until crumbly.
3. Add white chocolate chips, egg yolk, creamer and mix in.
4. Fold in raspberries.
5. Drop by teaspoons full onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 min.
6. Mix frosting ingredients together then drizzle on warm scones.
